In 2008, one of my poems, “Future Freedom” was named a “Judge’s Pick” in the Science Fiction Poetry Association (SFPA) poetry contest and published in 2009 in the contest chapbook.
In 2010, my poem “Endings” was nominated for the Rhysling Award (short poem category) and was also eligible for a Dwarf Stars Award. Originally printed in the July/August 2009 edition of Star*Line, the poem was reprinted in the 2010 Rhysling Anthology and the 2010 Dwarf Stars Anthology.
“Time Out,” a scifaiku, and “Mother’s Cookbook,” a literary poem, were published in the December 2010/January 2011 print edition of ARTSpulse, a publication of The Arts Partnership in Fargo, North Dakota.
Marge Simon, the editor of Star*Line has accepted another of my poems for publication in 2011.
