About

My husband and I, now retired, live in eastern North Dakota. We are enjoying retirement, spending a lot of time catching up on our reading, clearing out unwanted accumulations from drawers, closets, attic, garage, and bookshelves.

Just out of college, I worked for almost a year as a computer programmer for an insurance company, and then took an extended vacation before hiring on as a computer operator at another financial institution. After quitting my job in the IT department of a regional bank corporation, I worked as a freelance writer and editor for thirty years.

I ceased doing academic style editing at the end of 2009 and job search work in September 2012. Subsequently, I discontinued academic ESL editing and finished off other commitments. I closed my RedBubble.com sales gallery in the spring of 2015, after receiving my last commission check. When the laptop I’d used for business died, that fall, I decided to buy my next one with hobby and retirement activities in mind.
