Common Evening Primrose (herb)
Over the weekend, we awoke to find the grass layered with white frost. It’s since melted away, and the current outside temperature is 72°F. The only new flowers are the common evening primroses. Some cotoneaster leaves are turning red and yellow, and most of the fruit are ripe.

The temperature outdoors, today, was high enough that I was comfortable in thin slacks, shirtsleeves and barefoot, taking photographs of fallen leaves around the yard. I am looking forward to rain, which is to make a reappearance beginning tonight or tomorrow, followed later in the week by snow, as the temperature drops.
