Water in the air

The cotoneaster leaves have finally appeared in the midst of this stormy springtime rain. The grass is greening, and two clumps of blue wild flax plants have emerged among the plumping tulip bulbs. I thought for a while that Spring would not displace Winter, this year.
Melting Snow

snow flurries
no longer melting as snowflakes
cover the ground
Looking back to summer

Looking forward to the green grass and buds on the tree branches. The waterfowl are returning. I have heard them calling amongst themselves as they fly to their summer homes. And I miss my flower flies.
Snow under grass

When is it too cold to snow? It’s too cold for taking photographs outside without swapping out my moccasins for snow boots.
